Organizational Training for Leadership and Employee Performance – Performance trainings are specifically directed toward the company workplace. All trainings are done onsite.

1. Self Administered EMDR for Leadership and Employee Performance

In this training Jeff Dwarshuis LMSW ACSW teaches techniques of Self Administered EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for performance enhancement, managing anxiety and increasing self esteem. Trainings are at the workplace. The training includes both lecture and practicing self administered EMDR. 2. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for Performance

EMDR eliminates the negative impacts of memory that interfere with performance progress. This presentation describes the theory, protocol, history and application of EMDR and its unique application to personal performance. Onsite EMDR is a natural follow up to this presentation. The presentation can be lengthened so employees begin the initial steps of EMDR for Performance Enhancement. 3. Organizational Strategic Problem Solving

Anxiety travels through organizations and creates conflict when it effects communication. Strategic Problem Solving decreases workplace stress by restructuring the balance of power and decision making. Four Hours. 4. Talking and Listening: How “In Depth Communication” can Strengthen your Personal and Family Life. 

Quality communication has to do with language. Key phrases for effective listening and talking are taught. Employees will have immediate access to tools that bring quality communication to the workplace. Three hours. (See title under “Helpful Information/Articles”.)


5. Individual Reactions to Trauma and Loss

Individuals respond differently to trauma and loss and employers benefit from understanding common symptoms employees show following a trauma. Three Hours. (See “Adjustment Disorders and Symptoms” under “Helpful Information/Forms and Checklists”.)

Family Life Trainings – Presentations on family functioning are typically done in churches, social service agencies and the workplace. All trainings are done onsite. 

1. Strengthening Your Marriage While Raising Teens

Raising adolescents is hard. Through five suggestions couples can strengthen their marriage at the same time. Time is left to ask questions about learning application. Two hours. (See title under “Helpful Information/Articles”) 


2. The Good, the Bad and the Imago: How we contribute to our relational conflicts. 

Childhood disappointments cause people to react non-productively to adult conflict. These reactions can be changed through increasing listening skills. Two Hours. (See “Imago Listening Exercise” under “Helpful Information/Exercises”.) 


3. Childhood Bullying, Postraumatic Stress Disorder and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing 

Bullies and victims have identifiable traits. This presentation will show these traits and how EMDR can end the traumatic memories related to bullying. Two Hours (See “Bullying in Children and Youth – Warning Signs” under “Helpful Information/Articles”.) 


4. Optimal Family Functioning and Successful Relationships in the Marriage and Family 

In this popular presentation four characteristics of optimal family functioning are explained. Participants can immediately bring learning and positive change to their families. Time is left for questions about application. Three hours.
